What is HWB Cemaes?

HWB Cemaes is a Community Interest Company, a multi-faceted social enterprise serving children, teens, seniors, families, and visitors within the Twrcelyn Ward on the Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Môn).

 

We aspire to create a unique community learning center and citizen engagement environment, consisting of, but not limited to…

• before and after school clubs/activities

• teen haven

• school holiday camps

• overflow childminding

• senior connections during the day

• a bookable facility for general use in the evenings and weekends

 

It is a place where people young and old can take part in activities; learn a new skill; hang out and enjoy a panad; use Wi-Fi for personal, educational, or professional purposes; connect with others; share expertise; and grow as humans in a place they feel welcomed and special. The environment reflects sensitivity and care with the primary goal of satisfying the needs of our multi-generational community.
